On September 22 of this year, an introductory visit of the Military Attache to the US Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan by Colonel Christopher Distifeno took place.
During the visit, the first deputy head of the university head of the educational and methodological department, Colonel Azhibayev Talgat Zhumanovich familiarized the guest with the organizational and staff structure of the institution, the main tasks and prospects for the development of a leading educational institution in the military sphere.
This year marks the arrival of the first U.S. officer to the National Defense University for intensive Russian language training. Russian language courses are organized at the request of foreign defense departments that have expressed a desire to send their officers to study in Мaster’s and PhD programs at the National Defense University of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
After successfully completing the study of the Russian language, foreign officers enter a one-year Мaster’s program “Strategic Management in Military Affairs” of the Faculty “Academie of the General Staff of the Armed Forces”.
To date, the University already has foreign graduates from countries such as the Republic of Korea, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the French Republic, the Republic of India and the People’s Republic of China.
